REMAP Technical Equipment for Disabled People REMAP is dedicated to the design and manufacture or modification of aids for physically disabled people. Engineering and electronic skills are particularly in demand, as also are facilities for making parts. Remap operates through a network of 1,500 volunteers. The professional engineers, technicians, and craftspeople - along with medical and paramedical staff from community services and hospitals - all belong to 100 panels (groups) linked to regions across the UK. Can they help you? Help is given to people of all ages across a wide area of disability so long as the technical aid required cannot be obtained commercially. The right is reserved to refuse work that is not considered appropriate. For further information and you local panel please contact Remap head office.
